2021 Albertine Prize Ceremony

On December 8, 2021, we held a ceremony at Villa Albertine headquarters to honor the winners of the 2021 Albertine Prize: author Nicolas Mathieu and translator William Rodarmor for And Their Children After Them (ed. Other Press/Actes Sud)! The coming-of-age tale, set in post-industrial France, recounts a trip to a nude beach in a stolen canoe that ultimately brings fourteen-year-old Anthony to his first love and a summer that will change the course of his life.
