Brooklyn Falls for Les Éditions de l’Épure

A series of talks and workshops curated by Les Éditions de l’Épure, a French publishing house founded in 1991 by architects Sabine Bucquet-Grenet and Pascale Blin that combines the arts, architecture, design and gastronomy. The event includes a French/Swiss Cheese challenge “Happy Hour”!

From 5 to 9pm, Albertine will run a pop-up shop with a selection of books from Les Éditions de l’Épure.

The event is part of Brooklyn Falls for France, a cultural season of Francophone events in Brooklyn organized by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and FACE Foundation in partnership with Brooklyn venues.

Farmers Market with Treiber Farms, Mushrooms NYC and L’Imprimerie French Bakery.
All day long, stop by and shop some marvelous seasonal products straight from the field or the oven.

Les Éditions de l’Épure: a singular brand
Talk by Sabine Buquet-Grenet, publisher, followed by a Q&A.

Grand Cru Déclassé: An editorial adventure
Talk by Gérard Descrambre and Dominique Hutin, authors, followed by a Q&A.

Do you speak wine? The words of wine, a living language to the taste of the time

France–Switzerland: The (Cheesy) Battle

France and Switzerland share a border, a language, the famous choreographer Maurice Bejart, and a passion for a food made from the pressed curds of milk! Come join us to celebrate the end of the day for festive happy hours around what makes both countries so proud: their unique and inimitable cheeses.
