Join us for a performance/reading/discussion with slam artist and poet Capitaine Alexandre, inspired by his award wining collection of poems, Le Chant des possibles (2015). Capitaine Alexandre will be sharing the scene with songwriter and jazz musician Evan Goodrow.
He will perform readings and slam poetry, drawing on his published books, Le Chant des possibles and Résidents de la République, written « in a state of emergency »  that presents writings and reflections “in favor of finding ways of living together, against the defeat of ideals, desperation, and fatalism.”

Marc Alexandre Oho Bambe is a French and Cameroonian slammer poet, performer, author, and winner of the Prix Paul Verlaine de poésie de l’Académie Française.
