Making Masks
In conjunction with the exhibition Look, look, look… a Playful Book by French publisher Les Trois Ourses, at the Center for Book Arts, Albertine is thrilled to welcome French artist Louise-Marie Cumont for a fun and interactive workshop.
Inspired by Louise-Marie Cumont’s book Les Masques (The Masks), the participants will draw and cut their masks playing with axis of symmetry. The final mask will offer four different interpretations that will be full of surprises.
Louie Marie Cumont is a renowned French artist and children’s book author, and she will present her wonderful collection of handmade cloth books for children, published by French publisher Les Trois Ourses.
This workshop is part of Kids Trail, a program for kids and families by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and supported by FACE Foundation.
